Hello, I was just wondering which major would be apporpriate for somebody who likes maths alot . Finance or Informations systems ( also known as Management Information systems) if one decides to go to a business school ?

Any help will be appreciated :)

Most MIS grads have no need to use math in their work (until they reach management level and need to plan budgets, etc).

finance seems like the more math-oriented field. MIS is a lot of hands on work, not much math involved in basic day to day IT work.

What about financial engineering? People tell me that's ideal for math majors.
