Finances Question ...

I was thinking today ... I was wondering if this would cause them to decline my application.

According to my application, my family is listed with having an income of 80,000 for 6 people. This is a deceiving number because my parents are divorced and I only listed one of the two total incomes. 80,000 = mom + step dad income. But my dad makes 60,000+ on his own and is not attached to another family. Plus my grand-father is willing to assist with fees. Obviously 80,000<140,000 (plus change). I don't want them to decline my app because they do not think that I can be full pay because my application might be considered mediocre and that, therefore, a possible deciding factor (31 ACT/3.9 UW GPA - OOS for LSA w/ x3 legacy).

Is this worth mentioning and how would I go about doing this?

Don’t quote me on this but I don’t think the financial aid office really has anything to do with admissions so from my understanding, your financial situation shouldn’t affect you admissions status.
