I applied to Columbia but not sure yet if I got in since we get emails in two weeks stating if we got in or not. But when I went on the financial aid site, they said I was missing citizenship documents. S I faxed them my naturilzation certificate. As far as the people I know who applied to Columbia, they didn't have to submit papers to prove they were a citizen. And its not like they emailed me saying I was missing something. If I didn't even check the financial aid page, I probably wouldn't have known.
Is It possible that they accepted me and that's why they asked for those papers so they can make my financial aid package?
Or am I just dreaming way too big?

I was born outside of the US and had to send my proof of citizenship. I think it might just be for people born out of the US (to prove that you’re actually a citizen).

i was hoping to get into heop since my parents have a low income and a lot of people said that citizenship is required? By any chance is your income low too?

i know i wont get in through regular admission

No, my income isn’t low. I wouldn’t read into it. I highly doubt it means anything.
