Financial aid and admission

since I will need financial aid and therefore submit my financial aid application, but i wanted to know: do colleges offer admision only if they can meet your financial need? or do they offer you admission anyway but state how much they can contribute towards the annual cost?

i'm an international student and am applying to colleges that have, although limited, financial aid available to international stuednts, such as clark u and macalester.

thanks in advance

Very few schools claim to meet 100% of a student's financial need. There are even fewer that do so for internationals. If they have limited international aid, they very well may accept you, give you want they can, and leave it up to you to come up with the difference. (That's called "gapping".)

oh ok, thanks for ur help

They will often accept you with no aid.
