if i don't apply for financial aid, and i am a junior transfer applicant with a 3.65 GPA from a community college and almost all of the pre-reqs out of the way, with excellent recommendations and extracurricular activities, how much will this help?

Well WashU says it doesn't look at financial need until the pot runs out. So I guess if you were potentially one of the people on the bottom it would help you to not apply for financial aid so you wouldnt be eliminated on that basis alone. I hope that made sense. Basically, I would say don't apply for financial aid unless you have to. But then again, I'm not sure if that same policy holds true for transfers. I would assume it would be the same idea though.

thanks for the reply..i'm just wondering how much it is actually a benefit or plus in the application part, since i don't need financial aid.
