Financial Aid and Early Action

I applied early to Yale this year as a financial aid applicant.
If I am fortunate enough to gain admission to Yale, how and when will I be notified of my
financial aid package? Will I have to wait until April to hear back about aid, or can I get an immediate number or at least an estimate as to how much aid Yale is willing to provide? This information would sort of be crucial, because if I am not notified of the aid amount, I would have to apply for regular decision to secure potentially better aid packages.

If you sent in financial aid information with your application, then you’ll get an estimate at the time you are notified of your decision. If not, then I think you need to wait until later in the year. (I’m not sure though).

is there anyone who is absolutely, positively sure about when financial aid applicants are notified of an aid estimate? In April? On December 15? Some time in between?

My understanding is that the aid estimate comes at the same time as the decision.

It is my assumption that if the forms are not submitted by Nov 1st, then you will get your package at a later date.
