Financial Aid and Parents Contribution

I calculated my parents' contribution recently with the cost estimator on Dartmouth's website and it says my parents' contribution will be around $12,000.
If I assume that the college costs appx. $50,000/year[tuition, room, board, etc.] and I can earn about $2,000 during the summer, does this mean that the college will provide the Financial Aid worth of $36,000 for my freshmen year?
(50,000-12,000-2,000=36,000)

And, will my future FA include cost of flight tickets?

By the way, I am an international so I am not eligible for FAFSA or any other Fed. aid.

Thanks :)

The short answer is yes, that Dartmouth will meet 100% of your demonstrated need. If they calculate your need to be $36,000, then they will cover it.

Calculated in your cost of attendance would be the cost of flight tickets however, Dartmouth will not be purchasing them for you (you/your should be budgeting this money and will be responsible for paying for your plane tickets).

THANKS. I just got to like the school a lot more.
