<p>I know that someone has a thread started on this before, but I couldn't find it so I'll just start a new one. Sorry if it bothers anyone. So I still haven't received my Penn Portal, and I e-mailed Penn saying that I couldn't file part of my Financial aid stuff if I don't have my Penn Portal account info, and they wrote me a response saying "the Financial Services has extended the financial aid deadline to Feb. 27." Then I came on CC and saw a couple of posts saying that Feb. 1 is the priority deadline and the Feb.27 is the absolute deadline--is this true? It doesn't sound like that from the e-mail they wrote me. When I read it I interpreted it as they now just have one single deadline on Feb. 27. Should I call them and ask? This is kind of important, because as I am an international student (even though I live in the US) financial aid is already scarce enough and missing the priority deadline is just...unthinkable. Should I call Penn about still not receiving my Penn Portal info? I am really freaking out!</p>

<p>I wonder why some people haven't gotten their Portal stuff yet. I applied on 12/31 and I got my information more than a week ago. (sorry for not making you feel any better :/)</p>
<p>Anyway, don't hesitate to send in your FA stuff. Even if the priority deadline was February 1st, that date has obviously already passed, so get your info in as soon as possible.</p>
<p>See...the thing is that, as I wrote in another post, I sent in my application to Penn 1-2 days late due to technical difficulties (as some other applicants also met, I believe). I did write a few e-mails to Penn explaining the situation, but all that I got was their out-of-office auto-reply (they were out of office until Jan. 5 I think), so they never really gave me any confirmation that my application is fine. That's why I didn't just go ahead and do the CSS before 2/1 (and, of course, also because I don't have my portal info). So now I'm all stressed out about this...should I maybe call them and confirm?</p>
<p>i've sent the fin. aid documents through fax without my Penn Portal info which i got today... if they are missing anything, they would surely contact me again...</p>
