Are we supposed to send a signed copy directly to Rice? If so, can someone tell me the mailing address for the finan aid office? I can't find it on the website. Thanks.

I sent copies of 2005 taxes both student and parents along with copies of W-2s, 1099s. I sent along with it and corrected CSS Profile. I updated the FAFSA online once my taxes were done. Sent all to:

Rice University
Office of Student Financial Services-MS 12
P.O. Box 1892
Houston, TX 77251-1892

thanks lukester i needed this info too...does anyone know by when we will have our fin aid packages, if we send all the fafsa and tax returns by the 15th?

I read in Rice's "Financing Your Education" pamplet, that if you submit the CSS Profile by 1 Feb, then send them copies of your taxes no later than the end of Feb and update the FAFSA NLT the end of Feb. All of that and you should receive a financial aid package early April, NLT 1 May. In other words, the sooner the better.

How do we make changes to our CSS profile?

if you're doing the Fafsa by paper, do you need to mail it to the FAFSA center AND to rice..or just to fafsa.

The only way to make changes to the CSS Profile is print a copy, make pencil corrections, then mail it in to Rice. To update FAFSA, you must do it thru FAFSA.ed.gov and either submit the update form electronically (easiest) or print out and mail the updated FAFSA.
