It is Feb. 14th, and the priority deadline for filing FAFSA, for two schools I am applying to, is Feb. 15th.

I thought I would be fine, so I wasn't stressing. I filled out my FAFSA online on January 2nd! Except just now, I had a terrible, terrible thought: I haven't filed my taxes yet. When I filled out FAFSA, I checked the box that said "I haven't filed taxes yet, and I am basing all of this information off of bank statements and paystubs", and when I had finished the FAFSA, it told me that when I DID file taxes, that I needed to go back online and confirm all the information.

SO.... because I filed FAFSA on January 2nd, have I met tomorrows priority deadline for aid application?

OR... Because I haven't confirmed the information on FAFSA yet with my filed tax forms, am I in danger of NOT meeting the priority deadline for aid?

It is Saturday, so I can't call the schools until the 16th to ask them. I am panicking. I do not want to mess this up. Can anyone tell me if I need to fill out tax forms tonight? Because I will, if I have to. But I have app essays to write also, and free time is hard to come by recently, y'know?

Thanks!
