Financial Aid Application

I’m a bit confused as to what I have to fill out for financial aid.
I applied this year, and indicated that I am applying for financial aid on my Common App.
I am an International student living in the US.

So do I just fill out the CSS Profile and the IDOC before February 1st and send these to Stanford, as most colleges require? Or should I wait until they send me something to my email?

I checked the website but all I could find was a statement saying that I need a taxpayer number.

Thank you.

Wait, were you accepted?

@“aunt bea” No I was not. I applied RD. I just wanted to make sure because other colleges require this info before they send out decision notifications.

Contact each financial aid office before you send in paperwork.

Generally, the information is on the FAFSA, however, since you can’t use FAFSA, you need to contact the schools.

I contacted Stanford, and for reference for all International students either residing in the US or abroad, you will need to send in the CSS Profile, the Noncustodial Profile if applicable, and the IDOC.

You also need to fill out this form: https://financialaid.stanford.edu/pdf/2016-17_International_Student_Certification_of_Finances.pdf

I’m going to scan this form and send it through their undergraduate email.

Sorry for hijacking this thread.
For filling the infomation in the International Student Certificate of Finances, although our Family Saving amount can cover all the 4 years school expenses, the amount we (parent) think we will be able to pay is US$20000 per year. Should we enter the US$20000 or all the school expenses (tuition, fee, boarding, etc) in Assured Support 2016-17 and the other three years? Thanks.
