Any information on financial aid..generous or not? Are there any merit scholarships available for musical theatre???

Well, D had to turn down her EA acceptance when the FA package came through. Her SAT's were in the average range, so that probably had a bearing on the amount of the merit scholarship she did get from them. From what we have heard from several alumni, Emerson has many applicants that don't need FA. An acquaintance of D's from her school is going there (I think they were the only 2 accepted), but I believe she is from a single-parent family so that may be the difference as our EFC was kind of high (OK - way too high!) But, you never know until you try. Good luck!

If you apply ED do you get financial aid info then or at least an estimate early too? I'll have two in college so maybe it will be less???

Anyone know about mucial theatre auditions...scholarships specific to this program???

My D was accepted EA but we didn't hear about her financial aid package until after the regular decisions were sent out. The financial aid was very generous, but I think her stats are on the high end and they seemed to really want her to attend. Yes, I do believe they consider how many kids you have in college and give you more aid. Emerson is a fantastic school, good luck!
