My family makes about 80,000 a year. I'm wondering if good boarding schools such as Exeter would grant us any financial aid, as my parents have flat-out said that I will not be able to go if no financial aid is awarded us. Thanks for your help!

Exeter has a huge endowment and gives money to families that make over $100,000. I would apply, fill out the FA application and see what happens. Exeter doesn't want accepted students to choose another school because of finances. Good Luck

thanks!!!!

Exeter is unusual among the top boarding preps in that it's not need blind. They use aid to achieve diversity. So if you're a URM or an athlete from North Dakota, you can get aid. If you're white and from NYC, you won't.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Boarding students $33,000

Day students $25,500
Financial aid awards range from $2,700 to $33,000
Financial aid awarded. $7,934,000
Students 33%
Average financial aid grant $25, 178 (boarding)

Exeter's mission is students from every corner of the world and I know many students who weren't URM, not athlete and New England or NE and got money.
