I am interested in the follow:
Princeton, Harvard, Caltech, Brown, Northwestern, Dartmouth, UPenn, Rice, and Columbia.

Any imput in the school's financial aid? I need to eventually narrow this list down to about 6/7 and since FA is really important to me, I thought this would be a good method.

If possible, please rank the FA assistance.

Brown is need-blind, meaning that if you are admitted they will find a way to make it financially feasible for you to attend--but it could include loans and work study in the package.

Go to each of the college's website and read all the info about their financial aid packages. I think all meet 100% of your demonstrated need. Input your financial information into one of the FAFSA and IM calculators and find out how much your EFC is.

All of your schools (don't know Rice) are need blind and offer among the best aid in the Country. Don't confuse that with meaning they will give yopu whatever you feel youi need. You need to run the numbers on a calculator for both FAFSA and profile to see what they expect your family to pay. For many, it's more than they can afford. The formulas assume your family has saved for college, will mortgage their home and cut back on living expenses at home.

Two of the schools you have listed offer some possibility of merit-based aid (Rice and CalTech). If your record is good enough to consider applying to places like Princeton, and you are concerned about not getting enough financial aid, perhaps you should consider applying to a few more universities that are not quite as selective as Ivy League schools. (In addition to your dream schools.)
