Financial aid at non-need-blind schools

does any int'l student here get financial aid or merit scholarships at non-need-blind ivy/other top schools like dartmouth, amherst, duke, and so on?
what were your stats, and did you have any hook? just wanna know how competitive it is...

i don't think those schools have needblind for international students. needblind (if you read the pamphlets) are only for Mexican, Canadian and American permenant resident and citizens. i made sure of that, so if you are not from those countries and you applied for fin. aid. your chances might be halved. or you can call and rescind your fin. apps

Erm... Newbyreborn, I think you got best_wr message wrongly.

anyway, I applied to other non-needblind schools, not dartmouth, amherst or duke, but to colgate, macalester, mount holyoke which are non need blind schools as well and got admitted. I also applied to Franklin and Marshall, as well as Gettysburg, but did not get admitted.

Newbyreborn:
I know those schools are not need blind. I asked if anyone got admitted to "non-need-blind schools" like amherst, duke, etc.

So upandover:
why would colleges like colgate and mac admit u while F&M and Gettysburg (less prominent) reject you? Perhaps b/c they didn't have money? Also, did you get your need met fully from colgate and mac?

Anybody else?

my bad, sorry, read the question too fast, no wonder i only got 600V and 640 writing, ha
i am verbally retarded lol
gl

hey, didn't mean to insult you.
