I keep hearing that NYU is ranked #1 with students dissatisfied with their financial aid package. I'd like to get an idea of how much financial aid NYU students receive. If you guys don't mind, could the people that got accepted ED or over the previous years to NYU post how much financial aid they got and how it compares to the family income?

Anyone???????

it says on their site that the average financial aid package is around 20K. I don't see how that's so horrible.

A big portion of that "aid" comes in the form of LOANS.

ewww so is it even worth filling out the FAFSA if our family income is around 65k a year and we have a lot of assets, or should I just go get good loans? I'll only be attending for two years as I am a transfer, but I imagine financial aid is even worse for transfers.

Go for it -- you never know.

yea just go for it....but don't expect too much aid because after all, it is NYU.
