Financial Aid at Wake?

I've basically been in love with Wake Forest for two years, and a visit there over the summer just solidified it. I've been considering increasing my chances by applying ED but I dont know how Wake's aid is. I know my second choice guarantees 100% of demonstrated need, and I was wondering if Wake does the same.

My family makes around 60,000 a year and I have a brother in college already so FA is a deciding factor for my family and me.

I’m waiting to hear a reply as well.

Wake does not guarantee to meet demonstrated need. (and not known for great FA)

It’s a great rule of thumb to Never Apply ED unless you don’t need FA…

Also remember that even schools that guarantee to meet full demonstrated need may choose to do so by offering you lots of loans. So if you choose to apply ED anywhere (except a school that offers 100% of demonstrated need and no loans) you may be guaranteeing that you may be paying much much more than you would if you applied unrestricted EA or RD, and had a chance to compare all the FA offers…

Wake specifically does not want students dependent on FA to apply ED - they sent out a letter last year to students with this overlap advising them to change their app from ED to RD.
