Check your BriefCase. I got a really good offer.

how do you get into your briefCase account? I never received an ID or password

Try this link <a href=“Information Technology Services at CWRU”>Information Technology Services at CWRU;
to activate your Case ID.

I can’t log in with my personal information and I don’t have any emails from Case that gave me a password. Anyone having the same problem?

i can’t find my login either. i think we should just wait a few days for the email with our info…

I just called. They said that they had not yet created all admitted students CaseIDs, and that the rest should be sent out soon.

@OP – What were you offered?

They offered me $45,100 in grants and scholarships, $3,000 in work study, and $6,500 in loans (2,000 unsub, 4,500 sub). They also expect me to save $2,000 during the summer (Summer savings expectation). I hope that I have enough left over for books and a laptop (my current PC wouldn’t be ideal for computer science).

That’s a really awesome offer. What’s your financial standing (your EFC if you know it)?

Do you plan on attending?

My EFC is 0. I’m definitely going to attend Case.

Did you get any merit or is that all based on financial aid?

I got $15k in merit from my acceptance letter (University Scholarship, added to total in scholarships and grants above).

I got in EA but haven’t gotten anything about this. Is it only for FA (I didn’t apply) or is there other stuff there that I should be looking at?

My DS got an additional $4.8K/year on top of his Trustee award. We are please but were hoping for a bit more.

When you click on that link you will be given a userid. They you need to know a pin#. It took us awhile to figure out it is social security number.

Good Luck

I checked my aid and got a pretty bad package in my opinion. My EFC is 0 with a 33 ACT, 4.0 GPA, and numerus AP classes and extracurriculars. My aid was a 20,000 scholarship, 16,000 grants, and the rest in loans. That leaves me to pay 18000 a year. I am considering an appeal.

gahh, well i used the network ID finder and got my username, but i still can’t access briefcase–it just comes up with “error” once i login. on the finaid site it says financial aid is up for freshmen though, ahhhh…

Did you make a password? The 7 digit thing that they ask for is actually your SSN (which I thought was weird since thats 9 numbers but whatever)

I just logged in, and I didn’t see anything. They just have 4 steps they want me to complete, but I’m still not sure if I need to complete those. The first one is something I have to fill out from Case. Did anyone else have to do that? I’m not sure if I’m suppose to or not since they never told me to, and I found the ID on my own using that link.

You have to do the Case Supplement form before you can get your financial aid award. It’s not that hard…it asks FAFSA-like questions. After you fill that out, they’ll start processing your offer. It took about a week to two weeks from start to finish for me.

Oh, and I did the same thing with my Case login. I emailed them about it and they said they emailed them out to applicants. I never received an email, so I did it on my own haha

Good luck with it :)

I actually never got a login ID emailed to me. They sent it to me in the mail. Not a terrible offer, and it may go up when I update my 2010 information haha.

I only have 2 emails from them and both do not have an ID. Great, have to wait another two weeks now. Thanks though.

Case says they haven’t yet received my FAFSA, but i sent it on 1-14…

Will I be hurt because of this…?
