does anyone else not see their financial aid awards when they log in?
saying something like this:

"As of today we have not received your file from Federal Student Aid. Please make sure of the following

You have received a Student Aid Report (SAR) from Federal Student Aid.
If you have received the SAR, is UC Davis listed as one of your school choices?
If you have received the SAR, is there anything missing on it to make it incomplete?"

First thing to check is to look at your FAFSA and see if UCD is listed as one of your colleges… and validate that it has the correct UCD school number.

And I’m sure it’s not too late to send them your FAFSA, as long as you submitted your FAFSA by March 2. Good luck.

i checked it and the school code and everything is on the list and correct as well. do you think maybe it takes a while for the award because my riverside award didnt come until about a month after admission

mine says that too, and I checked my FAFSA. it was sent to Davis. I emailed them, I’ll post here when they reply

It does show my financial aid report. Don’t know what could be the problem. :/

i’m thinking maybe they haven’t put out all the preliminary reports yet. but i’ll post their email here when i get it. probably tomorrow.

havent gotten anything today yet.

My s got his pkg. posted on line today under myawards. Everything is the same as my d at ucsd except $4,299 for “entering UG scholarship” Does anyone know what this is? My d never had this for the 3 years she has been at ucsd. Thx

popeyoung: did it have all 0’s before and say that he hadn’t submitted his FAFSA? and when did you actually submit the FAFSA?

mine’s still blank.

do you think i should submit the SIR even without seeing my financial aid award?

i submitted my SIR already, but I haven’t “accepted” the awards they’ve given me. it’s mainly because I pretty much know what’s going to be on the “estimated costs” page. but i’m not going to accept the awards until it shows everything.

but mines doesnt have anything at all
all it says is
To be considered for financial aid, you must file a 2011/2012 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The FAFSA is not required for non-need scholarship consideration

If you have received the SAR and UC Davis is listed and everything is complete or you have questions, please contact your respective Financial Aid Office.

that’s true. at max, the cost is going to be around $30k because that’s what the cost of attendance is (if you’re in-state). if the financial aid package is going to determine if you can go to davis or not, i’d definitely wait to submit your SIR.

i posted in the UC Davis Class of 2015 group on Facebook, and someone said the financial aid office is closed tomorrow for some holiday. i thought they were just closed on friday for cesar chavez day. can anyone confirm that they’re closed tomorrow?

or could it be that under cal grant, uc davis is not set as one my top 3 schools?

I called the financial aid office today. They apparently never got my FAFSA, but they asked me for my Data Release Number (DRN) from my Student Aid Report, and they said they’d import it manually. They told me in 3-5 business days they’ll contact me to tell me that my package is available through myAwards.

did they contact you?
