I’m in the middle of typing the PM’s. However, character limit for a CC Talk PM is 5K, and my message is well over 30 or 40K characters.

Here’s the SHORT SHORT TD;LR info I’ll state here while I’m in the middle of typing the Kraken:

No keenolee and denelly, you won’t be stripped of your financial aid for next quarter, and you won’t be kicked out (denying you a chance to redeem yourself).

Winter quarter will be just like Fall quarter, financial aid and all–albeit with restrictions placed upon you.

(You cannot take more than 17 units for your Winter Quarter, and ALL of your classes MUST be letter-graded).

Hi, the Hairy Lemon, Thanks so much for the infor. I did get your message and sent you a message back with an e-mail address - I don’t know if CC accepted it though as it came back saying that I have to have a certain amount of posts to PM.

I didn’t get a message.

I guess post it in visitor messages? (I’ll delete the post right after).

Thanks. I am trying to figure out how to post as a visitor.

The best thing to do in these sorts of situations is to directly call the financial aid office(s). Scenerios like this one can easily result in the runaround if the correct outlets aren’t utilized.

Hi Hairy Lemon, I just posted it. It’s ‘Y’ …thanks

Hi, i am going into my 2nd year at ucsb, got a cumulative gap of 1.95 for my first year, and have been placed on academic probation. I still have not received my financial aid award letter, or email saying its been suspended, and the payment is due next month already. Also, if i am placed on financial aid suspension, will all my aid, including refunds and such be given back to me by winter quarter if i bring up my gpa? Any advice is helpful. Thanks !
