What are the chances of a decent financial aid package at case? I will probably not qualify for (much if any) need-based, but I need almost all tuition paid if i want to have any chance of attending. My stats aren't exactly bad (2300 SAT, 4.0UW, one of hardest schedules), but I didnt cure AIDS either. I know CWRU is known for financial aid, but how much does anyone think I can get?

unpolloloco,
I'd say you have a pretty good chance of getting 3/4+ of tuition espescially if you have good essay/recommendations/extracurriculars. I also didn't qualify for any need-based aid, my parents own a small business. Since being at Case I've received additional scholarships that more than compensate for the tuition increases. Although they do look at the numbers when deciding financial aid i've heard of not very well rounded people not getting much, one was a guy who wrote his admissions essay on Star Wars and had basically 0 extracurriculars in high school. Good luck, feel free to ask any other questions.

Thanks for your help. My EC's are decent, so i might have a chance at getting enough funding. Does it matter at all with financial aid when I apply (EA vs. regular)?

For merit money some people think applying EA might help, they might only have so many scholarships and things might get tighter at the end of regular. Some people say it doens't matter. So unless you're doing SCEA/ED elsewhere, do early, it can't hurt. Good luck.

I think you'll get a presidential scholarship w/ is 25k a year
