Okay, I'm getting mixed signals from Northwestern right now. On their Financial Aid application sheet, it says that most of the due dates are March 1 but on the Financial Aid thing they emailed me, it says the deadline is February 1st, a pretty huge difference. Can somebody tell me when the real dadline for the CSS, FAFSA, and Northwestern's Financial Aid Application is due? thanks alot

Feb. 1st. And I'm pretty sure Northwestern doesn't have their own fin aid app. You just have to send fafsa, css, and tax returns.

Considering that that application is out of date, I would say that its irrevelant. I don't know if northwestern used to use their own fin aid app last year, but as far as I know, all you have to submit for this yr are the css, fafsa, and tax returns. None of the notifications that I have received from NU mention anything about their own fin aid app.

FASFA and CSS are due Feb.1st. Completed tax returns are due March 1st. We have received a letter indicating this. I emailed the school as I was confused because I filed FASFA and CSS on Jan. 1st. They confirmed my CSS but cannot confirm my FASFA until Feb.1st.

Thanks girls4mom - you are correct! For freshman applicants, we require the FAFSA and CSS profile by February 1 and the tax forms by March 1. The form hyper2freak7 is referring to is the University Aid Application and is only required for returning students.

Hi LauraR, I submitted a request yesterday to the Collegeboard for my CSS PROFILE to be sent to Northwestern. When I checked my status, I realized that the date my CSS is scheduled to be sent is 2/4/07, past the deadline. Is this going to be a problem?

Thank you.

Odin64x - Could you please email NU's financial aid office at newstudentaid@northwestern.edu with your specific question? Thanks!
