I'm starting to panic I completed my Fafsa and my efc is about $9000 how much in loans can I expect ND will make us take out? what do you guess our financial aid package will look like? We have 3 in college Thanks

U got ur tax return done already? My parents arent even close, so i have to wait at least 2 more weeks before i can get started on FAFSA but i already completely CSS/PROFILE, caz i had to do it for BC but i cant change any information on it. Anyone got any clue on how to go with that.

ND does not do merit aid but they are known for good need based aid. They don't go just by FAFSA, they actually use their own calculation, but most people end up happy with it. I bet it is better than the 9k, but you will probably still have some loans as well. I don't have all that much experience with it, as it may show, but don't freak out too much yet. Let them come with an offer and if you can't afford it, try to negotiate it. I wish you the very best!

BTW, with the other students already in college, here is a secret that may help you. Many schools, like Creighton where I used to go, have an office of student retention where they do their best to make sure you stay there. I have had friends who have gone to them saying they are having trouble making ends meet and all of them ended up with a couple thousand more in scholarships for the next year. Just a thought.

you can use estimated tax returns things don't change much from yr to yr so i could do it

We are supposed to give 9 we need the other 35

you fill this out only if u r 100% that u r goin to notre dame correct?

If you are going to any college and would like financial aid you should fill out the FAFSA
