<p>Im planning to apply ED 1 to NYU this coming fall and it says that the dealine for financial aid is Nov 15for ED 1. Does that mean i have to start filing my FASFA and CSS right now before deadline?</p>

<p>No, you do not submit the FAFSA until 1/1/14. You must submit the CSS profile before the deadline (the profile will most likely be available the beginning of october).</p>

<p>Edward, it means that whatever NYU wants you to submit by November MUST be submitted by November…or you will not get a financial aid offer when you get your ED acceptance (if you get accepted).</p>

<p>Go and read that website…see what they want submitted by November for ED applicants…and get whatever submitted ON TIME. As Sybbie noted, you will need to complete the CSS Profile using the best estimates possible for the 2013 tax year. Make sure your parents know this.</p>
