I submitted my requested financial aid but I didn't put my name and perm # on the top of each page. I'm panicking, but they posted they already received it and all the documents are stapled together. Should I worry?

They also posted this "The documents you submitted were reviewed. If there are no conflicts in your residency status or grade level, you will be notified by email in approximately two weeks that your financial aid eligibility has been determined and posted."

...so am I ok and being a totally panic-er like usual?

lol im pretty sure they just went ahead and DID it for you rather than send it back so u can write ur name and perm# on each copy of ur tax returns

so they asked me for 3 documents, which i sent, and it was received 2 days ago. but on the website, the official financial award letter is not available. it just says “Currently there is no award information to display.”

does anybody know how long it takes after they received ur documents, the official fin aid award letter comes out.

and

2 out of the 3 were received while 1 was waived? what does waived mean and does it affect the official fin aid?

Muserz what was your mistake? Did you at least put your name and perm number on the front pages of the docs? I didn’t put them anywhere at all except for in that one document that specifically asks for them. :(

I’ll have to call and confirm later. I only mailed it out yesterday.

^ Well my name and social was on my father’s tax papers and I did put them on the dependent verification worksheet. I called today and they said it was fine cus it went through.

So it’s Friday and the due date is the 23rd (tomorrow). Since tomorrow is a Saturday and Monday is a holiday, I’m assuming it’ll be due Tuesday.

But I haven’t gotten the documents from them yet, so I have no idea why my form would be incomplete. I could run around town and try to assemble the whole thing again and then send it express mail ($17!), but maybe they’ll be lenient in this case? Does anyone know what actually happens if you miss the deadline?

Well I emailed them and got a response. Apparently, as long as I turned in the original documents by the due date I’m fine and they will give a 10 day grace period. So yeah, future reference for anyone else.
