Financial Aid Document Tracking

Did anyone else receive this when checking their financial aid package? What does it mean if you received this? I was able to view my ePAL and everything, but this is making me wonder if UCLA has yet to receive my FAFSA information. Please help!

Document tracking functionality is available only to continuing UCLA students and to admitted students, who have completed their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).

The Financial Aid Office has not received your financial aid application (FAFSA) for the current academic year. We cannot determine your eligibility for financial aid without this information. To complete the FAFSA or check on the status of a submitted application go to: FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

If you completed a FAFSA and UCLA has no record of it, please note:

* Applications are forwarded to UCLA within 5-7 business days, if submitted via web and 3-4 weeks, if submitted via paper.
* The process has not been completed, if the application was “Saved” and not “Submitted” for processing. If you were not presented with a confirmation page, your FAFSA may not have been submitted.
* UCLA (school code 001315) MUST be listed on your FAFSA.
* If the Social Security Number on your FAFSA does not match the SSN in our records, we will not receive your FAFSA data.

They haven’t done your financial aid yet. They haven’t done people’s financial aid that are continuing students either, so it doesn’t really mean anything.
