As an international student( but I live in the US), what forms do I need to fill out, and where do I find them. Also, I'm Canadian, i dont know if that is different.

Some colleges view Canadian students in the same group as Americans, so you might have to fill out the CSS Profile or FAFSA or something or other. Some other colleges view Canadians as intels, so you might have to fill out the college's own intel declaration of finances form or the CollegeBoard one.

Canadians are a kind of gray area. I'd say check out the admissions web page on all the college's websites you're considering.

i was looking for the college board international student one, but I couldn't find it. Could anyone help me?

It's actually pretty hard to find on the CB site itself. I found it from the individual colleges.

Here's the CB Int'l Student Financial AID form:
http://apps.carleton.edu/admissions/assets/CBPDF_INTL_FIN_AID_FORM_0607.pdf

Here's the Certification of Finances form:
http://apps.carleton.edu/admissions/assets/CBPDF_INTL_CERT_FIN_0607.pdf

Both are PDF files.

Some info,

You DO need bank statements to back your claims on the financial aid forms and also for the colleges to make sure that you aren't hiding any cash/income. I sent in bank statements with transactions from the past 3 months when I was applying - if you're curious.

Source of emergency funds is basically cash that you can obtain easily for stuff like a medical emergency or just cash for some necessities. I don't think you NEED to have a source of emergency income, irrespective, I think you guys should email the fin aid dept for better responses to your questions.
