Financial Aid Email

I just today received an email from the financial aid office notifying me that one component of my financial aid app is incomplete. The missing document is not a big deal...I'm going to send it in ASAP...but the email states that they are (obviously) now reviewing my financial aid app.

Does this mean that I've been accepted? Considering that it's already march...I'm just not sure why my financial aid app would be under review if I was going to get rejected...

Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I’m sorry to say you should probably not look for deeper meaning in the request. Remember that Tufts is NOT need-blind, so they look at a candidate’s financial aid profile in conjunction with the file. And according to the Tufts Admissions Twitter, they only just started meeting in committee March 5th.

I know it was silly to even consider that, but I was hoping the exact same thing! Haha wishful thinking… I guess since it’s either a good sign or it’s no sign at all, at the very least we have nothing new to worry about. Good luck come April!

No message! They do their work and we do ours. Don’t read into it.
