Financial Aid Email

anyone else get one? think it means anything?

I got it, doubtful. But I mean weren't you freaked out when you saw it? I was like YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS

haha

what are ur stats?

brief summary of mine are 1450,3.9,and decent ECs

!!!! what is it? I want some financial aid. . . . .

i actually DID freak out for a sec...i was muy happy :p

my stats are nothing that will make you drool....1370, 4.3, decent EC's as well...I have a bit of a hook that I'm hoping will take me a long way. So, here's to wishful thinking :)

so it means nothing?

yo no se :-</p>

no se tampoco, probablemente ellos se lo enviaron a todos

Admission is so unlikely for everyone.

What is it, like a 7% admission rate. =/

hm i got one too w 1550, 2350 SATII's, 5's on 5 ap's, good EC's, SHP...idk what it means...i doubt much, though

what is "it"

I already got in, so I have no reason to get excited, but what does it say? The finaid people have received and are considering your forms, or the finaid people are determining your award, or you qualify for this scholarship, or what?

Heh... nothing exciting, I'm sorry to say. This is the text of it (it really is in annoying all-caps):

yeah I got one too but Im following the method "expect nothing and hope for a lot"

I got one too. I guess it was sent to everyone (although it would be better if it meant we were all accepted!!) I have quite a few forms i've gotta get copied, signed and sent out before the 11th. Better get to it then.

Hmm..I'm debating whether or not to go through all that trouble. I'm being honest with myself so I know I probably will not get in, but do they absolutely need it to let u in?

GO FOR IT!! It really can't hurt. I relooked at mine stuff wondering if filling and sending it all out would be a bear.... but it doesn't look to bad. It's just a Federal Verification sheet and then my mom's signed taxes (which i have a few copies of) so it won't be too bad. They say they need my dad's stuff too.... but I already sent them a letter asking for the non-custodial stuff to be waived and so I have to give them a call and see what the verdict is on that. Anyways... can you guys believe in less than a month, we'll all know if we're in??? Scary thought....

I got one as well. I already sent them stuff though.

ya i got one too. guess it's just to check final status of your financial materials. i did get excited though : ]

i'm glad i got it bc i didn't know my applicant ID number before... and now i know that they're missing a teacher rec!

i got one - same with the ID number for me. I gotta make sure I send all that stuff in. All my other application stuff is confirmed (i check with my ID number) so now just this final fin aid stuff and im officially and completely done for columbia. now i just gotta wait!

Oh, I got one, too, back in the ED round. Only mine wasn't in all-caps.
