Help! When I try logging into myFAO, it tells me that "This web application is for UCLA students only". I emailed them about this, and they told me that they haven't received my FAFSA yet, which I was 100% sure I submitted. Then I called FAFSA and they told me that everything was good and submitted correctly. I don't know what to do!

I get the same message on my FAO “Financial Aid Document Tracking” option, but when you check the other Financial Aid Document Tracking option in the main menu of URSA, it may show that they have received your completed FAFSA. At least, this is how it shows up for me.

So yes, this is extremely confusing. If anyone has any insight as to what the issue might be, it would be greatly appreciated.

If you click on the Access button for Financial Aid Document Tracking, you’ll see this message in bold red letters:

**"Document tracking functionality is available ONLY to continuing UCLA students and to admitted students, who have completed their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).

If you are a newly admitted student and have received a Provisional Award Letter (ePAL), please ignore the information below – Financial Aid Office is in possession of your financial aid application. Once you have SIR’ed, if there is any additional information needed by the financial aid office, we will contact you via e-mail."**

I’m guessing that somehow, the financial aid process isn’t “complete” until you submit your SIR, so if you’re not going to UCLA, this shouldn’t matter to you. I’m not sure, though.

Checked my SIR status just to make sure it was confirmed.

The message is still there, unfortunately. I figured it may have been a system lag, but I suppose I’ll have to wait to find out.

I have received a provisional award letter, though.

Thanks for the info, alwaysawriter.

Thanks guys for the help I finally can log in now. However, it also says my FAFSA has not been received. This is also true with UCSD, UCD, UCSB, and UCSD. However, UCI has already given me my financial aid reward so I am confused.
