Could any current students with 100k-125k income tell me what their Oberlin financial aid packages looked like?

Thanks so much!

There is not a straight forward answer to that question. FA will vary based on whether or not there are more than one child in college, the number of dependants, if the parents are divorced, if the family owns its own business, if there are extenuating medical issues, etc.

There is a FA calculator on the FAFSA site. You can plug in your family numbers and come up with your EFC. I think that Oberlin's EFC will be a fairly close match. Depending on your stats, you might get scholarship money. This will not depend on your EFC but will be awarded regardless of income. If you are awarded a scholarship, that will be added to your EFC. If you still come up short, then you will likely be awarded a subsidized Stafford loan. If there is still money to be made up, you will likely get a grant. Your package may also include work study. If your scholarship and your EFC are adequate to meet your expenses, the only other aid that will likely be offered is an unsubsidized Stafford loan.
