Financial aid for bad credit students

Hello my name is Lateasha and I am a undergraduate sophmore for Devry University. I just recently found out that my status changed in the amount of funding I can recieve this year, I am suppose to be starting my next set of classes in July but I do not have the remaining 1200 dollars that is needed to register for my next set. I am unable to obtain any loans because my very poor credit and I am unemployed currently. If you have any information as to what options I may have, please feel free to respond to this post, I would greatly appreciate it.

Unless there is an error in your funding for this year, it sounds like you may need to take a semester off, get a job and save the remaining $1200 you need to register. Have you talked to the financial aid office to clarify your change in funding? That would be my first step so that you can understand why your funding changed and be prepared for changes as you move forward. Best of luck to you!

Can you get a federal student loan?

You need to speak directly with a financial aid counselor from DeVry. I believe they are a clock-hour program, and this is not something most of us here on CC are familiar with. Please talk to DeVry - they will help you - that is what the financial aid office is there for!
