Financial aid for international students - Forms

I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but I don't really get the system. I'm applying for financial aid and would like to pay the less possible. I've heard of CSS PROFILE but I think that's too much for me, plus I don't even have a credit card.

Most of the schools I'm applying to require either this or CB's International Student Finaid Application. When I fill those out, would sending them by email work ? Do I have to fax them or send them by mail ? If I do send them by fax or mail, and the deadline is February 1st, would sending them January 31st work ?

Thank you for your answers. I apologize again for bothering you with such questions.

You cannot send the Profile via email or fax. You MUST submit it directly to the College Board. You indicate (and pay for) the schools you want to have receive this.

Again…for clarity…you can NOT submit the Profile via email or fax.

You need to look on EACH website for the colleges to which you are applying. You MUST complete each required submission for financial aid that EACH school requires. If you don’t, they will not process your request for financial aid.

International students are not eligible for fee waivers for the Profile.

I’m not sure if there is a mail option…but when you look at postage costs to insure this will be sent here…what are those? If your deadline is February 1, I’m not sure how you expect that the schools will receive your forms via mail.

Hoping happymomof1 sees this thread. She might have a suggestion.

But really…this is mighty last minute.

ETA…did you take the SAT or ACT? Did you have those scores sent to the colleges? How did you pay for those to be done…as well as the fees to take the tests?
