Hey, I'm a student here in the US, but I'm a UK national, and I may be going back to the UK for university. I was wondering if any of you know of any scholarships that may help to fund my education there, or of a way I can apply for an English equivalent of financial aid. Thanks in advance for any help.

UK students have lower fees than internationals. There are rarely any financial aid/scholarship options.

Check with each college for more details.

The UK has government loans and grants (mainly loans) to help UK student fund the cost of their education. There are two bad news:
- Since you are not currently living in the UK, you might be qualified as a foreign student for tuition purposes.
- Tuition fees for domestic students might increase significantly in 2012 (from about £3,000 to £9,000 a year).

Okay. Thanks guys. I was searching last night and I discovered that because I’m not a US citizen yet, I can’t get a loan from the US gov’t, but because I don’t live in the UK, I can’t get money from the UK gov’t. I’d just have to explain my case to each individual university. Thanks for the help.
