Hi,

I'd like to apply to schools in the US which offer full financial aid (need-based) to int'l applicants. can I have a list of such schools? I know that top schools (ivy league etc) offer need based financial aid to int'l applicants but their admission rate is very low i.e. they are highly selective. are there schools with high admission rate which can satisfy my condition?

thanks

The problem is you will never know until you apply. There are very few colleges that will meet need for international students. The ones that do guarantee for all are extremely difficult, as you have noted. The ones that are less difficult, but still hard, to get admitted to may only admit a few that they can give the funds to. Or they may admit more but just provide full funds to a few and others get partial funds or no funds. This is called preferential packaging and is used to attract the very top students.

There are higher admission rate colleges that will give assured amounts based on qualifications. Go to the Financial Aid forum. Then look at the threads pinned at the top and read the one on Automatic scholarships. Some of those will include internationals. Check the pages for each college on their website.

@BrownParent Thank you so very much :)
