If you put down on your application that you are looking for financial aid, will the admissons office assume you need it to attend? Or will they let you in and tell you that you aren't getting the aid? I'm applying to industrial engineering programs with a low gpa (3.13), and I knew when applying that I probably wouldn't get aid. If it turns out I won't get any money I'll find out a way to pay for it, I just don't want to be tossed aside because the admissions office thinks my attendence is contingent on receiving aid. Any thoughts?
