Financial Aid for National Hispanic Scholar at UCF

I'm a senior in high school and applied to UCF yesterday. UCF (Burnett Honors College) is my number one school and I'm very confident that I'll get in, but I'm concerned about affording it, so I was wondering what kind of scholarships I qualify for. Here are my stats:

SAT: 1440/2200 (CR: 740, M: 700, W: 760)
GPA: UW: 3.936; W: 4.383
National Hispanic Scholar
Top 5% of class of 580 students
AP Scholar with Distinction (After I graduate I will have taken a total of 12 AP classes)

Any help would be much appreciated!

Please see the Hispanic Students subforum (College Admissions, Specialty Topics). In the Resources sticky thread there are links to scholarships, including schools offering merit aid for NHRP.

Demure…According to UCF’s website, they have scholarships for National Hispanic Scholars as part of their Pegasus Scholarship program. It’s the same program under which they offer scholarships to National Merit and National Achievement students. There aren’t any specifics listed regarding dollar amounts, but UCF’s National Merit scholarship offer last year was near or at full-ride level. Just like many schools though, changing economic times may change the specifics of their scholarship offers from year to year. Here’s a link to the FAQ page of their Pegasus scholarship program that mentions the National Hispanic Scholars program.

Use the contact info link on that same page to call the Financial Aid office and see what the details are for National Hispanic Scholar offers (set amount or variable, automatic or competitive, etc.). Good Luck!!

Did you also make NMSF?

Anyway…as said above, UCF has NH scholarships. There are also other schools that have NH scholarships.
