Financial Aid For Out-Of-State

Hey everybody, congrats on your acceptances to UCLA! I was waitlisted, however my head is held high and I'm keeping confident in my 2nd chance for admission on the wailist.

However, I'm ancy to know if I get into UCLA, but I'm also concerned about how much it'll cost. I've heard financial aid is not as great for out of state applicants, which is understandable since it is a public university. But if someone could let me know possibly what they recieved if their stats are similar, i'd appreciate it.
ACT:31
GPA (UW):3.9
State: Ohio
Income: >$30,000
*Single parent, enrolled in college herself.
Undecided program.
FAFSA EFC: 0.

Thank you guys for your time. Hope to see you guys one day on campus!

OOS applicants get the same financial aid package as in-state applicants in terms of covering the in-state portion of the cost. If you need additional aid to cover the OOS tuition that is entirely a loan.

The financial aid package I received didn’t really begin to cover it and our income is <$10,000 (EFC is, of course, 0).

Quick Stats:
SAT: 1980
GPA (UW/W): 4.0/4.15
State: Idaho

Scholarships and grants totaled $23,756 and work study was $1,500. That equals ~$30k in loans or outside scholarships and such.
