My folks make around 140K or so before taxes (too lazy to calculate). I remember reading how it was projected that someone who's parent(s) make around 100K would only receive 10K aid or so. If this is true, am I really beat for Columbia then? Plus I know everyone says financial aid is the same if you're admitted off the waitlist, but is it really? Thanks.

Columbia's financial aid is not remarkably different than that of its peer schools; you're better off look at your EFC and your offer letters from other schools than asking these generic questions. No, you won't get any less if you're admitted off the W/L (you're likely not getting in off the wait list, but that's beside the point).

Thanks. EFC was CCS profile or FAFSA?
