my D was accepted! yeah! But no merit$, Boo! She is 3.48 unweighted, in top 11% of class, we have 1 DD in college already. I fear we are in the middle group, not poor, well off, but NOT rich and we are anxiouslay await Fin. aid info. 2 kids in colllege and a motgage is tough! Does Bently Fin. aid go to people like us, or are we in the SOL group? She has Bryanyt as a backup, as thats local, but who knows! thanks for listening.

Any special scholarships for girls who are great in math?

cudavid, It is VERY important that you call up admission and ask them about financial aid and merit aid. Tell them about any merit aid offered by comparable schools.

hi, thank you for the feeback. I am waiting to hear from Bryant, but she has Bentley as #1 Choice. I called 1 time month or so ago, spoke to the finaid dept and was assured they had everything. This week I will mail in the tax stuff for 07 they require and hold my breath!

bryant's new technology center looks excellent. if money is most important, go to the school that provides the most aid. bentley and bryant are both of similar caliber it seems.

"I really don't think so. What is that comment based on?"

Well I think so. bentley, bryant, babson are for the most part all similar. bentley may be marginally better than bryant but it is probably splitting hairs. they both have scores of B and A+ for teaching quality and facilities, respectively, according to businessweek. maybe bryant's career services could use an upgrade.

Krazyk, I can only tell you that my friend, who was an accounting major at Bryant and liked the school , felt that Bentley has a better reputation in accounting. He doesn't know about their other majors ,but, in accounting, Bentley is supposed to be very good. Moreover, this statement was made by a Bryant alumni too.
