<p>i am from a low income family in NC. The only way I could go to Davidson is if I received grants/financial aid equal or similar to the Carolina Covenant. How does Davidson compare to schools like UNC, Wake Forest, Duke, and Vanderbilt? Does it have good majors and financial aid? I am by no means an overachiever.</p>
<p>Davidson has recently instated a no-loan policy, meaning it will meet 100% of a students demonstrated need through grants! There are also many merit based scholarships that are worth looking into.</p>
<p>Davidson is different from UNC, Vandy, and Duke in that it is a small liberal arts college rather than a large university. You should visit both if you can, and determine which environment you prefer. Davidson has incredible resources and academics, especially for a small school, and the no loan policy can't be beat by any school in the southeast!</p>
<p>Does Davidson offer full ride to international students? Including merit scholarships.</p>
