<p>I recently got into UC Berkeley and I was trying to decide between living on campus or off campus. My financial aid was set to living on campus and showed I received a good amount of gift aid. I updated the information to "living off campus" to see how much financial aid I'd get but then it showed ZERO gift aid. I switched it back to living on campus but it still says ZERO gift aid. Why is this?? Does it take time to update? Also there is one document I need to finish for my financial aid but if it's needed to calculate my gift aid, why did it show me having any gift aid in the first place?</p>
<p>You need to call Berkeley finaid ASAP and ask them.</p>

<p>i emailed them and they told me the servers were down and i’ll have to check back next week for my updated financial aid</p>
