So I just found out that financial aid has term limits ... I thought that only cal grant had a 2 year (8 term) limit but I was informed that all financial aid (i.e. Pell Grant, University Grant, and other grants) has 9 SAP terms or 150% of credits needed to graduate. SOOO my problem is I started school in CC in Spring sem and USC only has fall acceptances ... well I got in after 2.5 years or 5 semesters at my CC... I will need to graduate in 2.5 years because I am an Accounting major. My question is I received pell grant for spring 2011 summer 2011 (i have no idea why i received for summer) Fall spring 2012 and Fall spring 2013 ... so in the end I have only 4 terms or 3 terms if the summer 2011 is counted which is pretty sad cause i only got like 400 bucks when i could've gotten 44k from USC ... what do I do? Are sap appeal turn over % high ? do i have to pay for my last semester or even worse last year at usc? all 44k of the tuition =[ very scared ... any info would be great.
