Financial aid help :d

Sooooooo I have a question about Financial Aid.

My mother cannot read and write very well, my father is overseas, and my mother did not feel comfortable with me working on the forms. We asked our tax lady to do it and she forgot to send in the income tax returns and the supplement for farm and business. She did, however, send in the CSS profile thing.

If I call the financial aid office tomorrow, will that take care of everything? I am really nervous because Harvard is expensive and while that will not affect my going there, I really don't want to pay full price.

Cause that is a chunk of change.

Call the Financial Aid office tomorrow and have your tax lady send in the 2010 tax returns and farm and business supplements ASAP.

In addition, sometime this February, the College Board/CSS Profile will notify the email address of record about sending in tax returns for 2011. You (or your tax lady) will need to follow the IDOC instructions to the letter. See:<a href=“Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC) – CSS Profile | College Board”>Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC) – CSS Profile | College Board;

You (or your tax lady) will also need to fill out the FAFSA forms when they become available on January 1st: [Home - FAFSA on the Web-Federal Student Aid](http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/)
