I went to the financial aid worksheet page and I saw that UPenn didn’t give me ANY financial aid. How is this possible??? I’m so confused because that 70K!!! Am I just looking at it wrong?? I live in a middle income family so I can’t pay for that!
Many middle-income families did not get anything. You can appeal. They can deny. You can back out ED contract for insufficient FA.
@BehindYou, are you looking at the award letter or the worksheet page? The worksheet page isn’t the same thing. Call the financial aid office—they’ll help with your questions.
@f2000sa @connections I got this on the page that leads to the worksheet page:
"Our records indicate that your financial aid application has recently become complete. Your application has been given priority, and we expect to review it shortly.
We will post the results of our evaluation on this secure site; please check back in a few days. Be assured that Student Financial Services is working as quickly as possible. "
Does this mean they haven’t determined my financial aid yet?
@BehindYou, yes, they have not determined your financial aid yet. Deep breaths! We are also waiting for the results. Good luck!
@connections good luck! Hopefully we get great financial aid packages, especially since my sis will be attending college next year too. :S Does that mean I submitted everything?
@BehindYou, yes, I’m pretty sure it means you submitted everything. I’d call Financial Aid on Monday to double check. And yes, here’s to greta financial aid packages!!
Don’t withdraw your other applications yet. You don’t yet know if the school is affordable. If it is, then great. If it’s not, then you can rightfully decline and continue with your other apps
