Dear readers,
I am an Indian citizen and i'm planning to do my undergrad in the US.
My SAT score: Not yet received
HS GPA : 3.6-3.75
ECs are moderate...
Now, I really wanna get admitted into any legitimately ranked college with a "decent scholarship" that reduces the cost to around $35000. My Parents are ready to pay that much. You know, its kinda difficult for my parents to pay the full tuition and stuff; US dollar being so much more costlier than the Indian rupee. I'm banking on scholarships and other aids(i'm up for work-study too). Is it possible? If yes, which colleges should i consider? Are the colleges that I mentioned in my other thread acceptable for these conditions?
P.S: I want to major in Mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering....

What should my SAT score be to get this amount of scholarship or aid?

Please reply as soon u as you can.

For your stats and your origin(Indians and Eastern Asians have disadvantages in admissions because of "diversity"issue), it will be very difficult or impossible to get into high tier schools(top 25?) like Ivy leagues and top liberal arts schools with FA and/or scholarship. It will be hard even for competitive scholarships at lower tier schools-top 50 or so.

To get automatic scholarships-if you don’t mind going to any college, lets say top 100 national/liberal-
having least 700 in reading and math and GPA 3.5+ is the best.

Here is the link that offers automatic scholarships to OOS-try to look into it.

I personally recommend University of Alabama(tuscaloosa) or Auburn University because it offers generous amount of OOS tuition scholarship from partial to full tuition, and they are pretty decent state universities.

Depending on your SAT score, you should look into:
CPP, UMN-Twin Cities, Ualabama Tuscaloosa, Florida Institute of Technology, University of South Florida, Texas Tech, Southwestern, South Dakota Schools of Mines, New Mexico School of Mines.
