Financial Aid Help!!

<p>Well, my situations is probably one of the worst you'll here. Due to laziness and procrastination, I completely blew off FAFSA/Profile/Scholarship app to USC and other private scholarships. Part of the reason, also, is that my family thought we could not be granted financial aid based on need... and now having been accepted to USC, we learn that tuition and expenses is around 45k! Talk about planning for college....</p>

<p>I've called USC and asked around, and they said I could still file FAFSA, but no guarantees. I've also been looking around, and am planning to apply to a bunch of private scholarships here and there using fastweb and other resources.</p>

<p>I know it's already way too late, but is there anything I can do? I'm really desperate because I need some money if I want to attend this school...</p>

<p>Sorry to hear that...but how much did you expect a private school to be? :p</p>

<p>Even the UCs run around 20k or so after tuition, room and board, etc...</p>

<p>Also, in general, about how much would a student worker get from a workstudy or non-workstudy job?</p>
