I sent in my ED application a while ago, but I totally forgot about financial aid. I thought I was just suppose to submit my fafsa in janurary-feb. I just saw a deadline for nov 1st for somethings, will it hurt me if I miss it? What are all the things I need to do if I wish to apply for financial aid? Thanks.

I also want to know. ^^

How many forms do we have to fill out? and are we just supposed to send the tax returns by email?

It depends, if your parents own a business there's an additional form they have to fill out. You and your parents have to fill out that CSS thing on collegeboard, send tax return forms from 2007, schedules and W2 forms. You also have to send in the Cornell Financial Aid forms that you can find on their website.

Postmark is Nov. 1, so I'm pretty sure you can still get it in before the deadline as long as you send it before saturday.

so did you send your parent's tax forms and Cornell Fiancial Aid form by mail?

Yeah.

Postmark: stamp with a postmark to indicate date and time of mailing.

As long as that postmark is dated before Nov. 1, you should be fine.

Why can't I access "the financial aid to do list" on my applicant ID profile? Should it show which parts of the financial aid application (CSS profile, financial aid appication, tax returns, W2s, etc.) Cornell has received?
