Financial Aid in 5th year

Would I still be eligible for financial aid if It would take me an extra year to graduate because I changed my major?

Federal aid would still be available; institutional aid depends on the policies of the individual school.

Unless you have already borrowed the maximum in loans (reached your aggregate loan level for an undergraduate), you should have additional FA eligibility for that 5th year. 5th year aid is actually not that uncommon at many institutions...its called a 4 year degree but it really takes a bit longer than 4 years in many cases.

My daughter was told before matriculating that finaid would only be available for 4 years. So when she needed a 5th year to complete coursework, she moved home, took the classes she needed locally and then returned for senior year.
