Hi

I have looked at all the need based from Canadian Universitys and could not really find anything that would help my situation. I am an American citizen and have no relation to Canada. Does anybody know of any other types of scholarships for USA students to study in
Canada ?

Thanks everyone !

What schools are you considering in Canada? Perhaps we can help you find similar in U.S.?

Your best place to start is with the Education Officer at the closest Consulate of Canada. [Canadian Embassy and Consulates in the United States](Canadian Embassy and Consulates in the U.S.) That person should be able to help you locate the information you are looking for.

We’re dual citizens so my daughter applied at a few Canadian schools. Both McGill & Waterloo offer merit packages to freshman upon entrance (based upon test scores and GPA’s no applications involved). You should contact the Bursar’s office at the school you are considering for advice. You should know that since tuition rates are lower in Canada so is financial assistance. I know there are loans available to international students, again the Bursar’s office will be your source.
